Transfers

The Bora Bora airport is located on a motu (Motu Mute), so you will need to take a boat to get from the airport to your final destination.
Most of Bora Bora's luxury hotels provide their own transport between airport and hotel. However, Air Tahiti can provide a shuttle boat service for passengers, aboard the "Bora Bora Navette".

Opening hours and control tower

The airport's opening hours are not fixed and vary according to seasonality.

Example of opening hours by day of the week (subject to modification without notice):
Monday: 7.15 am to 7.45 pm
Tuesday: 7.45 am to 12.30 pm and 1.20 pm to 7.05 pm
Wednesday: 7.15 am to 7.45 pm
Thursday: 7.45 am to 12.30 pm and 1.30 pm to 7.15 pm
Friday: 6.45 am to 7.30 pm
Saturday: 6.45 am to 7.30 pm
Sunday: 6.45 am to 7.30 pm

Special permission can be obtained from the Civil Aviation Department to land outside these times. For confirmation of current opening times or any other enquiries, please contact us directly.

Control tower staffs speak French and English.

Aircraft parking

The aircraft parking area accommodates four machines.
Bookings are therefore strongly recommended.

Refueling is possible on Bora Bora, but you will need to put in a prior request, as there is only a limited quantity of fuel available on the island.
